Ransin injury law Proudly Supports Brain Injury Association of Missouri’s National Concussion Awareness Day
In honor of National Concussion Awareness Day, BIAA has once again joined forces with TeachAids to raise awareness of concussion. Through its upcoming Concussion Story Wall project, TeachAids has collected nearly 4,000 stories from individuals with concussion and their families. BIAA is hosting a “sneak peek” of the Story Wall on our website, sharing 40 stories from people living with concussion around the country.
Next week, BIAA is celebrating its 40th anniversary. We have been honored to serve you as the Voice of Brain Injury over the last four decades. Do you want to celebrate with us? You can join in using #40YearsofBIAA on social media, get involved in our 40th anniversary fundraising challenge, or make a commemorative donation today.
Interested in learning more about concussion? Check out the TeachAids CrashCourse curriculum. CrashCourse is a video-based, interactive learning experience that aims to raise awareness of the latest science around concussions. We promise – it’s really cool.
Did you know that falls are the most common cause of traumatic brain injury (TBI) overall, particularly in older adults and young children? September is Falls Prevention Awareness Month. Visit our website for resources you can share with others and join us in raising awareness this month using #FallsFree.
